"Our Republic and its press will rise or fall together. An able, disinterested, public-spirited press, with trained intelligence to know the right and courage to do it, can preserve that public virtue without which popular government is a sham and a mockery. A cynical, mercenary, demagogic press will produce in time a people as base as itself. The power to mould the future of the Republic will be in the hands of the journalists of future generations."    Joseph Pulitzer

For twenty years Paradigm Research Group has worked to end the government imposed truth embargo on an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race and bring about Disclosure - the formal acknowledgement of that truth by heads of state of nations. In doing so PRG has strenuously avoided partisan politics. Disclosure will be the most profound event in human history. It transcends ethnicity, race, religion, politics and nations. The Disclosure movement needs the support of all because all will be affected by this transition.

This was an appropriate activist strategy, but like all things, not without limits. Sadly, that limit has been reached. Enough is enough.

Donald Trump is the most dangerous man to ever sit in the Oval Office - period. Not because he has an agenda, but because he has no agenda. He is a vacuum. There is no there there. Compared to Trump, George W. Bush was the Rock of Gibraltar. He is an empty vessel available to be filled with whatever by whomever. Worse than Johnson or Nixon, far worse than Obama, he is THE candidate for "most likely to stumble into a nuclear war."

The dysfunctional Democratic Party has for decades been running a somewhat distant second behind the Republican Party in the race to acquire the most liars, most hypocrites, most bought and sold members gorging at the Citizens United trough of swill. It is a race it cannot win. After two decades of marination in alt-right propaganda oozing out of car radio speakers into the minds of drivers trapped in billions of hours of commuter traffic coupled with a bizarre news network from hell, the Republican Party has become pure, unreformable, irredeemable toxic poison.

In the dysfunction meets toxic poison presidential election of 2016 the Democratic Party conducted a horrendous campaign that flaunted its worse attributes - far too many to mention. One mistake in particular stands out - a total misunderstanding and misportrayal of the opposition candidate.

Donald Trump is not a racist. The Democrats portrayed him as such to get the black vote. Trump is not a misogynist. The Democrats pushed that meme to get the women's vote. He is not an Islamophobe or hates Latinos. The Democrats worked that angle to get the ethnic vote. He is not a homophobe. The Dems wanted the LGBT vote.

Donald Trump was and is a billionaire, playboy a-hole - one of many who haunt the penthouses of the great cities of America. Why the Democrats did not see and portray him appropriately is theirs to explain. Perhaps they were afraid to lose the a-hole vote - a growing segment of the electorate that might one day form a third party.

This stupid and insipid strategy played directly into its candidate's primary weaknesses - a woman who refused to put the truth before her political ambitions, could never lie as well as her husband and was not authentic - just played authentic on television. Badly.

Nations make mistakes and people make mistakes - personally and in the collective. One such mistake was made on November 8, 2016. A public weary from seven decades of war and metastasizing broad spectrum institutional dysfunction; marinated in decades of propaganda; reeling from the impact of social media on political discourse; under the expanding thumb of a massive military/intelligence/industrial complex (Secret Empire, Deep State, Breakaway Civilization); and embittered by a failing Fourth Estate fired a warning shot across the bow of the Ship of State. They wanted a change of course and they wanted it now.

Unfortunately (and ironically) their aim was off and they hit the ship's stern blowing its rudder to pieces. Adrift at sea the SoS was boarded by a band of miscreants, nepotists, sycophants, and incompetents roaming its decks looking for something to do while trying to figure out how the guns work. This is not going to end well.

What now?

Many supporters of PRG's advocacy work are pressing for engagement of the sitting president on Disclosure. He is a renegade. He will do anything. Appeal to his ego. What these well-meaning supporters neglect to consider is this: if Donald Trump were somehow able to formally disclose the ET presence (very unlikely), he would be the first post-Disclosure president. It would be Trump faced with the task of directing America's path and the significant impact of that path on the global response during the most important transition in history at a time of almost unprecedented instability.

Paradigm Research Group will proceed to advance the Disclosure process, educate the public, seek contacts with other governments, and raise funds for the advocacy work. What it will not do is promote Donald Trump for the role of Disclosure President. That said, the world is a complicated place. Disclosure can come from many directions placing Trump in that role. What are the odds of that? Possibly low. Why?

The chaos during the transition and the first three months of the Trump presidency has masked a major political development. After organizing the largest public demonstration in American history the day after the inauguration, women's organizations began receiving massive amounts of funding. Across the nation women of substance and experience are committing to primary every House and Senate member whom they consider no longer part of the solution. They will have the funding they need to win. With or without a change of administration it is very possible, even likely, there will be more women than men serving in the House of Representatives in January of 2019.

Every day the Trump administration remains in the White House after January 1, 2018 the Republican Party will be losing hundreds thousands of votes across every district. That is why dramatic action will take place. It will be for the Republican Party a matter of survival.

It is PRG's assessment the current president will not be in the White House by the end of 2017. He will be asked to "step down for health reasons" by a Republican leadership well aware they are facing decimation in the 2018 mid-term election. They will cut a deal with Pence who will also step down. Voilą. President Ryan.

All of this lies in the future. As for the present, the situation is untenable given the current president (a cross between Benito Mussolini and Silvio Berlusconi), his family and the dystopian staff.

Enough is enough. He must go. All of them must go.

We have waited 70 years for the truth embargo to end. We can wait a few more months.
