UFOs and Nukes at the SIFF

On March 24 the important documentary UFOs and Nukes directed by Robert Hastings washttps://www.disclose.tv/ufo-nukes-307914 shown at the UFO Symposium as part of the Sonoma International Film Festival (SIFF). A panel with Dr. Robert  Jacobs and Dr. Patrick McDonough followed the filming. Both Jacobs and McDonough are eye witnesses to nuclear tampering events associated with unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). The film is based on Hastings’ UFOs & Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites – one of the most important books written on the ET presence issue.

The UFO Symposium at the SIFF has been produced and funded for eight years by Jim Ledwith, a resident of Sonoma, California. Jim is a researcher, lecturer and contactee. His website is UFOsRreal.com.

For eight years the SIFF has shown ET related documentaries. It is the only open film festival in the world that does this thanks to Jim Ledwith and executive director Kevin McNeely. Why is this important?

No English language documentary dealing with the modern UAP has ever received wide theater distribution. The closest candidate would be the German documentary Chariots of the Gods released in 1971. It did not address the modern issue but did gross $25 million.

This is an extraordinary lapse given extraterrestrial related themes are the highest grossing genre in all of film. The highest grossing film of all time, Avatar at $2.8 billion, is about blue extraterrestrials. There are four sequels in various stages of production.

But a quality documentary on the subject is not worthy of the big screen? It would be but for the truth embargo. Major film producers, unlike billionaire Robert Bigelow, are unwilling to speak truth to power on the subject of UAP.

Having watched UFOs and Nukes on the small screen, it was a pleasure to see it on the theater screen with a full audience. Such a setting grants the gravitas the topic deserves. It is exactly that effect that has kept such documentaries out of the theaters, and this has to change.
